Treated cant rails for fencing in Newcastle & Gateshead

Our fence rails are green pressure-treated cant rails, 3.6m long, in 75x38mm and 88x38mm sections. Cant rails are the horizontal timbers that run between fence posts and carry the boards on closeboard and board-on-rail fences. Buy them individually for repairs or in quantity for a new fence, and collect from our Swalwell yard or have them delivered within 30 miles.

Set posts at 1.8m centres so each rail spans two bays and the joints land on a post. Stagger joints between rows so they don't all fall on the same post.

Local delivery and collection

Delivered by our own drivers within 3–5 working days. Within 10 miles of our Swalwell yard: £10 delivery for orders under £75, or free for orders of £75 or more. Over 10 miles and up to 30 miles: £20 delivery for orders under £150, or free for orders of £150 or more. Distances are measured as a straight-line radius. Delivery is unavailable beyond 30 miles; collection is available from Swalwell.

We found a little gem right on our doorstep! The lads were brilliant, delivery was fast and completely free, and the prices were very reasonable.
