What's in the range

• Fence boards – 16mm square-edged boards, 150mm wide in 1.2m, 1.8m and 2.4m, or 100mm wide in 1.8m, sold individually.
• Feather edge boards – 22 x 125mm x 1.8m treated spruce for overlapping close-board fences.
• Fence posts – 100 x 75mm and 100 x 100mm, from 1.8m to 3m.
• Fence rails – 3.6m rails in 75 x 38mm and 88 x 38mm.
• Gravel boards – 150 x 22mm in 3.6m and 4.8m, to keep boards off the ground.
• Rapid set post concrete and post caps to finish the job.

Planning a fence

With 3.6m rails, set posts at 1.8m centres so each rail spans two bays and the joints land on a post. Use two rails per bay for fences up to about 1.2m high and three for 1.8m fences. For vertical boards, allow about 7 x 150mm boards per metre butted together, or about 6 with a 25mm gap. Our fencing checklist helps you build a full materials list.
